I love how easy this is to make and my boyfriend loves that there is beer in it! It is really delicious and you can really change the flavor of the bread by trying different beers. I love using really dark beer with a dark meat dinner. Light and fragrant beers are great with fish and white sauces.
3 cups self-rising flour
(recipe for SR flour)
3 TBSP sugar
12 oz can beer
Mix all the ingredients together and bake at 375F for 50 minutes.Pour melted butter over the top (or some cheese :) ) and bake 10 minutes more. Cool until you can handle it and dig in!
