Homemade Pasta Noodles


Making pasta noodles is so easy and inexpensive and tastes so much better than the store-bought kind. The water can be replaced with eggs, spinach or carrot juice or any number of other flavorings. Spices can be added to the flour mixture. I love experimenting with flavored noodles.

Ingredients:
(for one serving)

1 cup AP flour
1 cup water
1 pinch salt

1) Sift flour and salt into a bowl

2) Add the water and knead for 5 minutes

3) Wrap up and let sit at least a half hour

4) Roll out the noodles on a floured surface or with a pasta roller as thin as possible

5) Cut noodles into any desired shape

6) Cook by dropping into boiling water for 3-5 minutes.

7) Enjoy!
