Ingredients:
1/2 cup warm water
7g package dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
1 tsp sugar
4 cups AP flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 cup warm water
Directions:
1) Mix yeast, 1/2 cup warm water and salt together in a glass and leave to sit until it has doubled in size. (If it does not bubble the yeast is dead and you will need new yeast)
2) Sift together AP flour and salt. Add 1 cup warm water.
3) Add yeast mixture to flour mixture and knead for a full 10 minutes.
4) Place in an oiled bowl and let rise for 1 hour.
5) Punch down and knead 1 minute.
6) Grease bread pan, put dough inside and let rise 30 minutes.
7) Bake at 415F for 30 minutes.
8) Remove from pan when cool enough to handle and let cool on a rack.
