Last Minute Yorkshire Pudding

I use this recipe when I decide last-minute that I want something extra with my meal. If i make anything with gravy, I make this as well.

Preheat over to 425F. Put 1 tsp oil in each pocket of a muffin tin. Put the pan into the oven while you make the batter.

Mix together:

1 cup AP flour
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 pinch salt

Take hot pan out of the oven and pour the mixture evenly between the 12 tins. Put back into the over for 15 minutes. They will puff up and be browned when they are done cooking. Serve with gravy!

  1. This recipe creates a somewhat dense Yorkshire. Make sure the pan is HOT when you put the batter in to get a more light and fluffy result :)
