Tortillas are used in a variety of dishes around the world. The can be made with flour, corn or gluten free. This is a flour tortilla recipe that I extremely easy to make.
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1/4 cup veg oil
1 tsp salt
2/3 cup warm water
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients together
Knead for 3 minutes
Divide into 10 equal pieces
Cover in plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes
Preheat a pan ( a cast-iron skillet if you have it)
Roll each ball out to a 6" diameter. You can use a rolling pin or put between 2 pieces of plastic wrap and squish with the bottom of a frying pan or similar. If you have a tortilla press, even better.
(To make one take a look at:

I bought a little one for $25 at the restaurant supply outlet here in Niagara and it seemed like a bunch to pay for a little press, but it is soooooo worth it. My boyfriend used to laugh at me while i stood on a frying pan trying to get the dough thin enough. With the press it is incredibly easy in comparison. If you are crafty, make your own. The store bought ones only make really small tortillas.)
Cook for 60 seconds, flipping half way
Cover with plastic wrap or eat right away!
