Regrow Grocery-Store Celery

I have come across yet another item that can be bought from the grocery store, used and the regrown. Brilliant right!?!

Buy some celery from the grocery store and use the stalks as you need them. When you have used them all and would normally throw out the hard bottom, put it in some water instead!

Use only enough water to cover the bottom and change it out every day to keep it from going funky. By the next morning you should start to see little bright green leaves emerging from the middle. After a week you will be amazed at how much of the plant has grown back.

I plan to plant each of my new celery stalks as they really get growing. It's a bit like cheating in my garden but this way I will have celery ready to go super early in the season. From then on, I will remove only the stalks I need and from the outside and it will continue to grow the rest of the season!

You can also grow celery in a container in the kitchen really easily! I hope you enjoyed this tip!
